Business leader, entrepreneur and innovator, Johan began his career in 1984 turning around struggling companies. In 1995, he became CEO of HEAD, the international sports goods company based in Austria, and he now serves as the company’s chairman.
He is chairman of Equity Partners, London Films and an advisory board member of Brasilinvest.
Johan was non-exec chairman of Investcorp Europe (2010-2014), non-exec director of IMG (2006–13), non-exec chairman and director of Starr Managing Agents (2008-2015) and chairman of Aman Resorts (2014-18), advisory board member of Societe du Louvre (2005-2015).
He is a longtime expert in the winter sport business and current president of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation. As a former non-executive director of IMG, the international sports marketing group, he is also experienced in all aspects of sports media, marketing and licensing rights.
Johan holds the patents to mobile phone related indirect communication system and method (modern VoIP).
